Paper Guidelines

Abstracts have to be written in English, but presentations can be done in one of the official languages of ISCHE –English, French, German or Spanish. Abstracts must be a maximum of 500 words including bibliography.

All proposals for the main conference must be submitted using the online submission form at https://2015.ische.org/submission/

Individual paper proposals should include the following:

  • Paper Title (In the language of presentation and in English)
  • Name(s) and surname(s) of the presenter (max. 4 presenters for one paper)
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Related sub-theme
  • Abstract of max. 500 words – text-only
  • Bibliography of max. 5 titles
  • 3-5 keywords
  • Language of presentation (English, French, German or Spanish)

Panel proposals should include between 3 and 6 papers from diverse research teams and different countries. Submissions for whole panels should include members from at least three different countries.

Furthermore, it should contain the following information:

Panel abstract should be submitted by the panel coordinator (choose the “panel coordinator” option) and contain the following information:

  • Title of the panel (In language of presentation and English)
  • Coordinator name and surname (if there are more than one coordinator, add other coordinators name to the other authors option.
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Related conference sub-theme
  • General abstract max. 500 words – text-only
  • Bibliography of max. 8 titles
  • 3-5 keywords
  • List of the name(s) and surname(s) of each participant, institutional affiliation and titles of papers

 

All the panel presenters have to submit their own abstract (choose the “panel member” option). Their abstracts have to start with the title of the panel and then title of their abstract and follow the individual paper proposal rules (see individual paper proposal requirements in paper guidelines). Each panel participant should provide information about their paper to the panel coordinator.

 

 

Review Criteria ISCHE 2015:

 The Conference Review Committee will review the abstracts anonymously.

The abstract should contain the following elements:

  1. Direct link to the conference theme
  2. Research questions, objectives
  3. References to an appropriate theoretical framework
  4. Clear presentation of the methods/methodology
  5. Expected outcomes/results
  6. Appropriate bibliographical references
  7. Clear, understandable and grammatically correct language
